The Blessing Box of Montoursville was built by Girl Scout Troop 60041 last year to provide easy access to basic items for anyone in the community. Each month is sponsored by a family, organization, or group to ensure it stays well stocked.

About the Event
Every April, Eat Share sponsors the Blessing Box of Montoursville to ensure that it stays well stocked with hygiene and non-perishable food items, as well as some flower and veggie seeds to start off Spring.
In addition, we also encourage volunteers to seek out other food pantry boxes in their communities and promote donations throughout the month.
What is a Blessing Box?
A free little food pantry open to the community
What do you put in a Blessing Box?
Donations of non-perishable food and hygiene products. Think of the kinds of easy prep meals and snacks that you or your family would want to enjoy, and the hygiene products you would use. Canned foods with flip top lids preferred over ones that need an opener.
**Please no fresh fruit or veggies, meat, eggs, or other items that need refridgerated**
