About the Event
Julia Child said that “no one is born a great cook, one learns by doing”.
We enjoyed so much wisdom in the kitchen as Eat Share board members and other Volunteer Chefs came together to prepare a planned menu of salad, cheddar bay biscuits, a deloicious cheeseburger casserole recipe--perfected by Registered Dietitian and Eat Share Chef Extraordinaire, Leeann Hessler. It was a great day--coupled with a “Dancing Queen” radio vibe, a finicky convection oven named Fiona--and we can't wait to host the next volunteer cooking event!
A loud and harmonious THANK YOU to Chip and the Williamsport Community Kitchen for hosting us today. Together, we made cheeseburger casserole, cheddar bay biscuits, and salad for the individuals, families, and staff at YWCA Northcentral PA
